How WHOMI works

WHOMI turns your developer identity into a fully designed landing page. Pick a theme, claim a handle, and share one link that tells the whole story.

01Getting Started

Claim your handle

Go to whomi.page and type your desired handle (e.g. whomi.page/alex). Handles are first-come, first-served.

Pick a theme

Choose from 9 themes — 3 are free forever. Premium themes unlock at ₹5/month.

Fill your profile

Add your name, title, bio, links, and featured project. All content is editable anytime from your dashboard.

Share

Copy your whomi.page link and drop it in your GitHub bio, LinkedIn, email signature, or resume.

02Claiming Your Handle

Your handle is the unique path after whomi.page/. Rules:

  • —Alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores only
  • —Minimum 3 characters, maximum 24 characters
  • —Case-insensitive — alex and ALEX are the same handle
  • —Cannot be changed after 7 days of claiming
  • —Reserved words (admin, api, dashboard, etc.) are not available

Tip

Use your GitHub username as your WHOMI handle for maximum discoverability — developers searching for you will find both.

03Themes & Customization

Each theme is a completely different visual identity — not just a color swap, but a full UI redesign with unique typography, effects, and layout. Free themes are always free. Premium templates unlock for a one-time $0.50 payment.

05Custom Domain

Point your own domain (e.g. alexrivera.dev) to your WHOMI page. Available on Pro plan.

  1. 1.Add your domain in Settings → Custom Domain
  2. 2.Add a CNAME record: @ → cname.whomi.page
  3. 3.Add a TXT record for verification: whomi-verify=<your-token>
  4. 4.Wait up to 48 hours for DNS propagation
  5. 5.HTTPS is provisioned automatically via Let's Encrypt
